THINGS TO DO IN THE PARK

Prospect Park boasts Brooklyn's only natural forest, the borough's only lake, and the 90-acre Long Meadow. The Boathouse is one of the most elegant venues in New York and regularly hosts weddings. The Lefrak Center at Lakeside offers ice skating, curling, and hockey during the winter months and then roller skating, biking, and boating in the summer.

PROSPECT PARK ZOO

Prospect Park Zoo is one of the park's top attractions, offering five exhibits housing 864 animals, which represent about 175 species. Families appreciate the Discovery Center and the zoo's daily sea lion training sessions. Next door, located in Prospect Park’s Children’s Corner, is the Carousel. Carved in 1912, it features horses, a lion, a giraffe, a deer, and two dragon-pulled chariots.

GRAND PROSPECT HALL

Since opening its doors in 1892, Grand Prospect Hall has been making dreams come true in Brooklyn. With gold leaf, granite, and marble gracing the exterior, this storied hall is the most magical place in the city to say your vows.
